If you had to pick one thing to eat...

If you had to pick one dish to eat from now into eternity, what would it be?

Back in my college days I got used to eating one item for the week when money was tight. I'd fix a big ol' pot of spaghetti - and it could last for days. Or I'd fix a big batch of taco meat and have tacos for a week. This choice was mostly out of neccessity - but it got me used to eating the same thing for a couple of days and when I have leftovers now, it's not that big a deal to me.

As a result of my past, I always say, "I could eat Mexican every meal", or, "I can eat Italian every day."

But here's the thing - for the purposes of this post - what would you pick to eat if you could only pick one dish from now until the end of time?

Now, it can't be a genre of foods like "Mexican" or "Italian" - it has to be one entree. You can, however have side items - like "burger and fries" or "chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes" or "turkey and dressing."

OK - so what's it gonna be? Forever...

Anything over egg noodles; lemon chicken, stroganoff, green chili, whatever. I just love egg noodles.

MY Goulash with garlic bread. I get all the nutrients from bread, meat and vegetables. And I'm already use to it - when I cook it now, I make enough for a week at 2 meals a day. Mandarin Oranges for dessert - and Arizona sweet tea.

Damn, now I'm hungry - tg it's lunch time! {=}

Oh, yes - I can definitely imagine the possibilities with ice cream! That novelty would wear off at about day 5, I'm guessing...lol

I'm also imagining all the "treadmill time" I'm gonna need to put in on the "ice cream diet". I guess there are other ways of burning calories though, eh?

I like the ensemble - very well put together - much like yourself (insert flirtatious wink here ). I'm thinking this kind of meal could actually last a couple of weeks before it got too old...lol

(zzzzziiiip ) What? She did say "anything over egg noodles"! ... and he's kinda edible - definitely suckable. Well, from what I've been told - I haven't tried to....ah, nevermind.

LOVE Stroganoff.... mmmmmmm... that could make my "Top 10 things I could eat for the foreseeable future list."

Well, I took your question serious. Shark has a firm meaty texture. It holds together well. On a kabob, you can get both vegetables and/or fruits thus changing the flavors and texture, shark has a mild flavor on it's on so doesn't overpower the veg/fruit portions. Then again we could also go into the eating or peircing (penatrating) a fish like.... J

lol...I hear ya, attentive. I'm just saying - we could probably go for a couple more hours at least before someone else mentioned a "shark kabob" - that makes you pretty unique. Congrats, dude!

...and I'm not a "fish dude" - so I'll trust ya on the advantages of shark...lol

Hmmmmm since I am on a diet I would have to say cottage cheese and peaches. When I am not dieting I would have to say my famous deep dish lasagna. Did I mention I make a mean pan of lasagna????

Juicy

Hmmmm...what could I eat for the rest of my life????? I could probably do baked chicken, brocolli and cheese, salad with dressing, sweet tea, and cheesecake. Oh, can't forget the strawberries and whipped cream.

That way, if I ever had a visitor......
