Happy Humpin' Day!

Happy Humpin' Day (aka Hump Day, and Wednesday) Everyone!

Been a while since I tossed up a post of my own instead of responding to other blogs, so I figured I was about due.

I was on vacation from work last week. (Yea, me!) It was my first "vacation" since I had back surgery two years ago - and I don't really consider that a vacation, although the drugs were infinitely cool.

What did I do? Hmmmmm... I found out that the things I consider a fun activity that I would do if I had a week off from work are things that I already do when I don't have a week off from work. KnowwhatImean?

Here's the deal. When you don't have much downtime anyway, you squeeze your "fun stuff" into your normal schedule on the weekends and evenings, etc. Fun for me is going to the lake or taking a drive or going to Barnes & Noble or to Best Buy or playing golf. I do those anyway. If you give me a week off, then I am going to do them all together in one week...lol. I suck at downtime.

I'm a go, go, go kinda dude. "Doing things" for me is actually what I find relaxing. Drives the wifey nutso. On Thursday last week, she was like "I'm ready for you to go back to work so I can get some rest."...lol. Story of my life.

Is anybody else with me on this?

I am with ya that is for sure!!!!!!!!!! I have a hard time relaxing anyway. I will say I am absolutely not doing anything today, and by the end of the day I have done 50 things. Well I hope you at least had one relaxing funnnnnnnnnnnnn day! If you could.

Addy, in my own way they were all relaxing. I enjoy the lifestyle and find it calming somehow.

I'm a frigging go-aholic, I guess... lol
