A Good Lunch...

It was a good lunch today...

I had to stop by Wal-Mart during lunch (no, that is not the good part) for some vacuum cleaner bags. Type "Z". Evidently Wal-Mart is the only place in town that carries them - don't get me started - I'll have to go to my "whining" post if I continue there...

Anyway...

I'm walking through the store and I get a "double-take". It was subtle, but it was definite. A gal looked up from browsing some clothes at me - glanced, looked away, then looked back. It was a classic double-take - spontaneous and involuntary. Our eyes locked. Then you could see the look in her eyes change like she knew she got busted and she was a bit embarrassed. (Women are sooo subtle with their glances usually.) I gave her a nod, smile and a "Hi" as I walked on by.

It was nice - made my lunch. Yea, Stevo! Score one for the home team!...lol

<---returns hi-five...

How did I know you'd ask that?...lol

On the Julian Scale? ( You think you're hot, huh? ) She was a 5.

On the Stevie Scale? She was a solid 6.5 - cuz of the obvious good taste she showed...

If I was a guessin' man, I would guess 34C by the glance I got - guys can be slick too, ya'll...

LOL! You have funny exchanges on your blog! I love it! So that made your day huh. I am so glad! That can be a strange situation. When that happened before, I am assuming it probably has, have you ever been bold and said more than hi. Just curious!

I am sure the opportunity will present itself in a public place where I will be drawn to say more than "Hi". Most times that it happens I am driving and short of becoming a total stalker and turning the car around and chasing her down, it wouldn't work out.

The women's clothing section at Wal-Mart is not a place to make a sudden, smooth right turn into for a conversation.

Now, say we were in a bookstore on the same aisle where we weren't both "passing" but more lingering and browsing - that situation would be a better fit probably.

Speaking of which, that reminds me - I will be at the B&N in Norman on Saturday at 8pm... haha... j/k... With any kind of luck I will just be pulling the jet ski off the lake down at Lake Draper Saturday at 8...

That sort of thing would make my day too, perhaps I should give it a chance and try to make eye contact today like that. Maybe it will make someones day.

(sigh)... The "double-take" from Cozy_Red... Would there be a more invigorating, "proud to be a man" moment in life? I doubt it...

Go for it, girlie... Tell me what happens since I gave ya the idea...

Vicariously going about my day,
Stevo!
