Grace, anyone?

Warm, then cold, rain, then sleet, freezing, then ice, finally: pavement...ouch. MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MIND WEATHER!
After work I walked over a few stores to see my friend Steve play piano at a local cafe named Caffeine (in south Norwalk). There are few things that totally relax me to a place where my mind can drift away from the mundane and into the area of wonder and spirituality. Steve's music is one of those things. Jazz, classical, and sometimes he just makes stuff up, but he has found a rhythm, and can convey it with perfect clarity. His music has grace, that is the best way I can put it.

Hey, just wanted to say that I am one of the local musicians that frequents the "Sono Caffeine". I usually play their once per month or so. The coffee shot scene is a good place to play some music and is usually pretty tranquil for the listeners.

I think the best way I can describe the feeling is being in a meditative state, which I'm sure on many levels it really is. It's...very calming.

Caffeine is a nice cozy place, but lately it has been very dead, I guess people are more interested in live jukeboxes than original music. Sad really, if I want to hear a song from a band I like live, I'll go see that band. Maybe it's just me.
