AOL Lives again on AFF

I just did something I regret, I'm not proud of it and I may need a shower. I went into the chatting section of this service.
I'm still getting bad flashbacks of 14 year olds on AOL's chatting service swearing at eachother and ignoring eachother.
Mostly it's IMPOSSIBLE to get your foot in the the door of any of these conversations, there's always some pre-existing conversation going on about something that doesn't lend itself to another party.
Also, nobody acknoledges anybody, maybe I'm just used to chatting online, but when somebody enters the room usually people at least say hi because they're interested in chatting. Nope, it's like a bidding war. I can almost here numbers being spouted out at the speed of light followed by:

"SOLD! To the gentleman wearing nothing but the cock ring!"

I was however impressed that I was able to stream my iSight Web Cam over the web browser (the geeky side of me went "ooooOOooooo, ahhhHHHhh."

I urge all to ignore this section entirely, or better yet, enter the chat rooms and be considerate of others.

For now, I'm going to make some tea. That's right, tea, and it will be damn good.

I have felt the same way when I go to the chat rooms. I watch for a minute...feel terribly lost and then I leave. It is like walking up to a group of people engaged in discussion and standing there on the outside watching fun. That's why I don't go to them.

kind thoughts,

I totally agree with the previous post.In the Past I have visited Chat rooms and watched for a few Minutes. I have tried to start and/or join in conversations BUT it seems Like Everyone is Talking at the Same Time. I have NEVER enjoyed myself in a Chat room AND it has been quite awhile since I have visited one. Also, I have NO intentions of visiting one in the near/distant Future
