TEACH ME MY FRIEND....

I remember thinking yesterday that, there were many miles between us....
and that I wish that I could just reach out a sweep them to the sides... so that there's nothing standing in between us...just us face to face, my friend and tho I would be loss for words...
In my heart...
I'll ask you to be my friend...
To take my hand and teach me to believe...
Teach me how to love again, my friend....
and if it's not too much, teach me how to laugh again.
If just for one day...be my friend.

I haven't played this game for so long,
but I was never good at playing anyway...never understood the rules....
guess my heart was too real...
and now my friend, I find myself too scare to speak what on my mind, inside my heart...
So I let myself dream about being face to face with you...
In my heart...
I'll ask you to me my friend...
To take my hand and teach me to believe...
Teach me how to love again, my friend....
and if it's not too much, teach me how to laugh again.
If just for one day...be my friend.

Very well written, I have to say.

I don't think someone can teach what you describe, friendship is a gift from someone that thinks enough of you to give it free, without expectations. Love is also a gift from one heart to another heart. The gift of friendship and love is for one to accept and return the gift unconditionally.

To teach, is to offer a gift of trust. Trust is sincerity and honesty. It is easy to learn from a sincere friend you trust.

If I offered you the gift of friendship, would you accept?
If so, given time other gifts would follow. Friendship is first gift. Without true friendship, there is no reason to continue.

It is easy to laugh and have fun, even in life's adverse moments, when shared by a friend who has give you love and trust.

A rose is the perfect example of life, beautiful, but with thorns.
Friendship, love, trust and honesty have a way of removing the thorns and leaving the beautiful rose to be shared.

I have never understood the rules of the game either, but I do believe in friendship, trust, honesty, and love.
