Sometimes, It is better not to know

After a relationship ends, it is better sometimes to not let the ex know. You may never know if some wounds are fully healed, and is it really worth it to bring those memories up, and cause that pain again?
Or is it something that is done to be cruel to your ex?

Hi wwyatt,
I'm sorry to read about your pain...but from experience it does get better step by step. My ex husband and I are good friends now...four years since our separation and eventual divorce. He found solace in God and has shared it with me because I just went through a very painful breakup with my now ex-boyfriend. My ex-husband is a giving soul and he forgave me and asked for my forgiveness...that started us on a path of healing. He's been a good friend to me through this current fiasco.
