The Parlor

I had been in Korea for a week now, hiking around the countryside, looking at the sights, doing what every tourist does. I had decided to visit the local Army Post and replenish my cigarette supply when I noticed a small sign "Massage". Now, I have never been the type of person who would dismiss such a treat. It was like walking through a desert and coming upon an oasis. I entered the doorway and was met by three or more cute Korean girls, all of them wearing white shorts and tops. One of the girls took me by the arm and led me into a clean room resembling an operating room....not the type of massage parlor I was used to. In front of me was the typical massage table, a steam cabinete, and a ceramic tile tub, that was a good three feet deep. It had to be at least six feet long and maybe two feet wide. The young girl then motioned for me to remove my clothes and lay face down on the table. She covered me with a towel and then left the room. She had been gone for a while, and I guess I had managed to doze off...when I felt these soft hands running up and down my body. Boy, that was feeling really great!...After turning me over and massaging the rest of me, she started running water into the tub...but, all I could see was steam coming from the water. Was I going to be the main course in some sadistic meal!....You could boil lobster in that tub....She moved me over to it...and I think she was maybe pushing me alittle, I was not really wanting to be boiled, and she lifted my leg up over the edge, and into this boiling water....hummm, not that hot...hot...almost burning...but not too bad. It took me a good five minutes before I was up to my neck in hot water. Now I know where that saying came from.
