Sun is Out

Woke up the first time around five thirty....only glancing briefly at the clock and rolling back over, falling back to sleep. Finally rolled out a few minutes ago, two hours later and was met by the brite sunlight taking over the entire inside of the house. Looks like another nice day. I only had been able to get three hours sleep the night before, maybe just too excited about setting up at my first car show since the last one in September. The car was basically loaded, totally loaded I guess is a better word for it. I didn't think I had that much stuff to sell at this show, well it didn't look like much just sitting in the corner of my bedroom. Until I loaded it all in the Subaru wagon. Let me tell you about this car. It is a 91, not that many miles on it, will run forever, and has tons of room in it. I had already put a fast three thousand miles on it last week, driving to Salt Lake and back here again. Now this trip. The car show was about two and a half fast driving hours from here, and I ended up driving in the rain most of the way, after starting out at four thirty that morning. Only got lost once, which was a first, normally I am wondering around lost at least a few times on each new outing. There were not too many cars there or vendors when I arrived. The sun was shining and it looked like a beautiful day for the show. I setup next to a nice couple. They had a ten by thirty foot tarp with all kinds of really cool stuff loading their tables. They had this gigantic fifth wheeler parked behind their space. An hour after I had gone through the process of fighting with my canopy and getting my wares set up, the placed was packed with old cars of every make and model you could imagine. Found out that there was two hundred and thirty eight cars there that day. And business...what business. I only managed to sell twenty-five percent of what I normally do at one of these shows. It really sucked. But thanks to my baby for calling me every few hours and keeping my hopes up through out the day, I really had a good time. And then the taking down and loading the car back up for the trip back home, and then the unloading and putting it back in the house. Boy, I was just damn near dead after finally getting it all done. Even went to bed early, about ten thirty last night. Makes me wonder if I want to do another car show again. Maybe I should just make BDSM furniture and sell that instead.
