god damn I love to smoke!!!

In light of the upcomming seperation from my dearly beloved smokey treats I've had to take time and think. How long have I been doing this?
What will you be like without it?

I mean really... I am the god damned marlboro man when I am smoking... or a mix betwixt him and some black and white artsy nuevo french coffee shop patron who just sits.. and smokes... and drinks coffee... and smokes.... then repeats that pattern.

I love the way it tastes, I love the way the smoke is a barrier between you and me when I lift it up to inhale. I love that it gives me something to do when I have nothing to say. I love the way it makes me less approachable to others.... I love the way I feel when I light up... I love how smoking is attached to lower class..and poverty, and suffering, and death. (if you prescribe to that typs of thinking)
but no Im not kidding those are really the things I love about it....
any smokers out there?? how do you feel about your monkey???? and I dont want to hear any whinning from those of you who hate it but lack the balls or initiative to quit!

Hey radioplay68,

Weird! My handle is radiodude992. I'm a smoker, too and I love it as well! I know I should quit, but I don't have too many bad habits (smoking and this site being the obly ones, really). An old girlfriend of mine said she loved to watch me smoke. It turned her on to watch me inhale, the slowly push the smoke from my nostils. She said it made me look like some fantastical dragon-man.

So, here's to the smokers of the world! A too-often persecuted minority who are having their lifestyle choice unfairly targeted. If smoking is outlawed, then only outlaws will smoke! Me, I've always wanted to be an outlaw, so it works for me.

You'll have to excuse me now. I'm going to go outside into the freezing cold and enjoy a damn fine cigarette! Take Care!

radiodude... thanks for the reply... it is greatly appreciated...
yea the targeting of smokers never really got under my skin.... weirdly enough I think I like the attention of being disliked for a once acceptable behavior

I too, am a smoker.. have been since I was 18 and started college. It was the cool thing to do back then. Not so much now. And yes, I like it, too. At least we have gotten past the stage where people put a portable fan in your face....lol. The thing that gets me now, is the 'non-smoking' eatery. A place in my town had a fire resently, and now that they have reopened, it is 'non-smoking'. I used to eat breakfast there 2-3 times a week... now I am not welcome????

I read an article online yesterday about Ford Motor. Seems that a couple of there divisions pulled their ads from a gay publication. Everyone was up in arms that they were not being 'inclusive' enough. Ford said it had nothing to do with the 'lifestyle' but was a product placement issue. So Ford promised to place ads for their OTHER divisions in the magazines. Sounds like they want to make everyone happy. BUT, I have to go outside in 20 degree weather to have a smoke!!!. I guess the solution is to make smokers a 'lifestyle'. Then we could file anti-discrimination lawsuits. We could demand that smoker be given equal roles in TV productions. We could have a program called 'queer eye for the smoking guy', or guest spots on Oprah (she could give away lighters and cartons).

The funniest cartoon I ever say was two guy in shirt sleves standing outside a building while others walked past in heavy coats and the wind blew:

1st guy: "Did you hear that Charley died?"
2nd guy: "From lung cancer?"
1st guy: "Nope.... pneumonia!!"

Cracked me up!!!!
