Busted... not that it will matter.

Well as per my previous post I went on a little fishing expidition and I caught my first one (like any of you are surprised).

Now I will see how AdultFriendFinder handles the situation.

As I said I was going to do I created a new email account and then messaged one (and only one) profile here on AdultFriendFinder last night.

This morning that account got its first email and of course it made no reference to the exact profile on AdultFriendFinder - but here is the content of the email (with the website the sender included deleted by me):

Hey it was nice to hear from you on AdultFriendFinder. I hope you can help me fulfill my sexual desires. I would like to try and see if we could meet maybe since we might be able to make a good match. Maybe a coffee shop or hotel bar would be good place, a hotel might be better though incase we make a good connection. I have to tell you I miss oral sex sooo much, I hope you are open to that. Anyway you can give me a call. Here is the best way to reach me

pay website addy located here

My profile is listed inside the site under "gstring". I decided to post my personal contact info and pics inside the site since the replies I recieve are real and have serious intentions for a discreet sexual encounter. Well, I do hope to hear from you...I guess I'll find out just how serious you really are P.S. I feel like I dont want to spend another nite without a man, maybe meet tonite, I can get needy when I tie on a good buzz! What are your plans for the next few days?? Hope to hear
from you! Kisses, Amanda

So who is the fake mystery person?

Again, most, or all, of you reading this already know how to spot the fake profiles but here are some clues...... a lot of profiles may have oe or two of these - but the fake ones match all or almost all of them.

Standard member.
Only one picture in the profile.
Description requests you to send them your email addy in your message.
They seem to be open to about anything (although it was interesting that I was not in "nice_girl1301's" age range - looks like she was willing to overlook that ).
No real details (married/single, body type, etc etc - all 'prefer not to say' ).

Now off to report the profile to AdultFriendFinder and see if they remove it and try to get them to clarify their stance on requesting people send their e-mail addys in their profiles...

Awwwww, but she sound so nice and needy . Are you sure you don't want to shill out some change in hopes she'll meet ya? After all, she overlooked the age range .

I'm sure you're not surprised by this. Sad thing is, there are a lot of suckers who would fall for this.

I am not surprised in the slightest - my main reason for doing this is to see if I can get AdultFriendFinder to tell me to report any profiles that request you send them your email addy. Not to bust the real folks, just the fake ones that are harvesting email accounts to spam (like the one above).

No bunny you are obviously NOT a fake profile

Standard member. (ok - you do match that one)
Only one picture in the profile. (you have three currently)
Description requests you to send them your email addy in your message. (Nope - you don't do that - you know there is no need)
They seem to be open to about anything. (Nope - you have standard - hehe)
No real details. (LOTS of details in your profile)

I should have added the final clue to a fake profile:

No blog (and you have a very good one)

Hmmmmm - the member removed his/her profile (or perhaps it was deleted??).......

vellly interesting.....

Now lets see if AdultFriendFinder replies to my question....

I would take great joy in going after soe of these scammers - even if it is just in my area.

If you check this entry... 66 percent of women with pictures are fake?

You should slowly see each profile pic dissapear... I will be messaging each one and then when they send me links I will report them and they will also be 'poofed' as lustgoddess put it The last one in the list went 'poof' today after 'she' sent me the identical e-mail the first fake person did.

Just something to do in my spare time. And trust me - I am 100% sure any profile I report is fake. I know it is a losing battle but I get a tiny bit of satisfaction eliminating the obvious fakes from the profiles that pop up on my 'whos online now' searches

Actually I had only reported one of this list so far - so it is nice to see them dissapearing - maybe others are at work to weed out the fake profiles
