first breath....

Today I feel like a person who has been underwater for what seemed like an eternity, and has just reached the surface to take that first lung-busting breath. I've been hurting for some time now, and today I feel the first healing rays of light shining down upon me. It was like the time humans first broke the sound barrier.
No one really knew for sure what would happen. There were theories that it was like a brick wall that couldn't be penetrated; an impossible feat. We approched it with a sense of fear, and a universe of faith. As Chuck Yeager approched the invisible wall, and his X-1 was shaking violently, I can only imagine the horrible thoughts in his mind. Is the craft going to disintegrate? Will I disintegrate? Oh god, it's almost over! And then, the moment of truth...BOOM!!!!!!
Though the wall, all becomes peaceful. The violence is gone. The craft flies smooth and true.

I've finally hit Mach 1.

Good to hear you have broken through. Maybe now more good days than bad days!

Best Wishes

PnS>>>
I have a feeling that the days will be better.
It's been a long hard road out of hell, and I must say that your writings have helped me along the way.
I sincerely thank you.
