A Door to Tomorrow

Beyond the Door to Tomorrow
lies a great unknown
that may fill us with fear.
Out there, beyond today,
hidden from our view,
it looms before us
like a barricade ‘cross our path.

The power of this fear
creates phantoms of the mind.
And may obscure the miracles
and the peace we say we seek.
It may even get in the way
Of our ability to believe
In love or even ourselves.

What does lie beyond?
Are there other beings there?
Or maybe strange Gods
and Goddesses abound,
Or perhaps death and destruction
Is all that that awaits.
Or unexpected joy, and renewed hope.

It is like unto Pandora's Box;
we cannot know what it holds.
But a thing we do know,
A certainty to be sure,
If we’ve friends in need of help.
We’ll put aside our vague fears
And make our presence felt.

Beyond the Door to Tomorrow
lies a great unknown
A reason there is for that mystery,
for If we knew what they held,
Our choices would be clear
No need there’d to think or share

Of a Miracle, to work on learning to love one
another in the Now.
Tomorrow will be here
fast enough; Then the Door will clang shut
yet again, and another Tomorrow will be
Hidden from our view

Holding on to fear prevents the present from being all it that is meant to be...

That is the concept I will hold from this and ponder on this week.

Thank you Ravyn...
