Cookies and Crosswords

I have been a busy girl today. I have tackled some long avoided chores, such as cleaning out the garage, weeding shrubbery display, etc. Just wrapped up the bed-time story for the evening, a brutal rendition of the three little pigs saga (two of the pigs were eaten!), and plan to settle in with my freshly baked cookies and last Sundays crossword puzzle. Perhaps I will find something worth watching on the television, but I'm not expecting much. I have an intense and revealing personality question to ask all of you who may be patient enough to read my boring little blog: What is your favorite cookie? A subject close to may heart so tread lightly dear reader!

Must we pick one?

Alright... I can't just pick one but I will try to explain why....

Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies - I love these cookies... but they are soooo expensive. The light cookie with just enough sweet chocolate between the wafers. Its a cookie that I don't have often but when I do mmmm mmm mmmmmmmmm.

Nabisco Regular Oreo's - Much less expensive (so I can have more) and can be eaten in so many ways.. Do I pull them apart and lick out the cream and then crunch the cookies? Do I dunk them in a glass of milk until the are soggy and then savor the taste as the cookie and cream mingle with the cold milk? Or what about a 'blizzard' or some other ice cream concoction with oreo's?

Its just very hard to choose between the two as a favorite, I love both and would be hard pressed if I was ever told I could only have one of those two types in the future.

Now I post knowing some important parts of my personality have apparently been revealed

It is hard to choose one so I'll choose two:

Marshmellow cookies - the ones dipped in chocolate with the cookie and jelly bottom. Cookie and jellie bottoms...

and, I'm not sure you have these south of the border, but, President's Choice Decadent Chocolate Chip is a first class cookie and has been for years. Best served with milk.

You seem pretty cool - too bad your miles away. I think I'd like to get to know you, but I'm not really good at online correspondence.

Fudge stripe cookies. glass of milk. Drop one in, let it start soaking. JUST when it sinks under the surface of the milk, swoop in with a fork/spoon and "rescue" it.

Special times:
Pepperidge Farms: Milk Chocolate Macadamia (Sausalito®)

And Jbats: we love our air insulated cookie sheet.
Chocolate Chip cookies are universally appreciated.

Thnaks for the tip Judy. As I said, I do love cookies, anytime, anywhere. can anyone tell me if there is a site for cookie lover's, perhaps a CookieFinder out there. Lonely Female seeking: tasty cookie with moist and chewy center to share my passion with. Nick: if there is a site, I think you should sign up as well, lol.
