am I missing something here?

why is it everyone seems to be using the phrase "I'm not changing my life, I'm kicking it to the curb....". did I miss a memo that there is a cash bonus if you use this phrase or a guarantee that you be provided a match? if so, where do I sign up?...lol

It's from the "profile helper" that the site provides. I think it's pathetic that so many people are using the same lines over and over again. There is no creativity being used - no effort being put forth to write their own profiles. It's to the point now that I won't even bother reading the rest of the profile if it starts out with that canned crap.

How are we supposed to learn about someone if they don't use their own words to describe themself or who they are looking for?

Ugh.

I didn't even know there was a profile helper. But that explains why you hear the same phrases over and over. I agree with Lustgoddess....if someone doesn't have any creativity...are they really worth getting to know?

Those are people who can't be bothered with writting their own profile.

Thank you Allsleeky,angelofmercy5 and LustGoddess2469 for taking the time to inform me. I suppose the reason why I did not know this is that I also do not want a "canned response" to be in my profile. I am an individual and I like to think I can be creative enough on my own. If a college grad can't create an interesting profile on his/her own then there is a problem.
