Serious post

I dedicate this post to the first man to be awarded the medal of honor in operation Iraqi Freedom. His name is Sgt. First Class Paul Ray Smith. Paul Smith along with 20 other engineers held off a counter attack on the Baghdad Airport. Sgt. Smith and the 20 engineers fended off 50-100 enemy soldiers with only the temporary support of a Bradley fighting vehicle and and later a .50 cal machine gun mounted on a M113 apc. Paul Smith jumped onto the apc after it was hit by a mortor shell and used the .50 cal machine gun to hold a strong defense against the attackers, unfortunatly this put him in a very exposed position and he was shot nearing the end of the battle. Due to this man's heroics the Baghdad Airport remained in U.S hands and the bravery and efficiency of the U.S. military was proved to the insurgents in Baghdad. I ask that you remeber such a great soldier whose actions equal those of the Screaming Eagles of WW2 and the two men who were awarded the medal of honor after the Somalian incident.
