Looking for excitement

Yeah! I just upgraded and now I'm able to meet a lot more people. At first I was a little leary about using an online community like this but its sort of grown on me. I hope I get a bit of a turn out. I'm really excited to meet new people. I moved to this area about a year ago after graduating college and I still haven't met that many people. All of my coworkers downtown are either old or married, or both, and I don't like going out to places alone. It always seems sort of depressing. I really want to meet some people that can hang out and party, as well as get hot and sweaty with, if thats what the situation calls for.

I'm a bit of a nerd, though I've accepted that fact and moved on from it about the same time I graduated high school 5+ years ago. If you don't like me for who I am, then deal with it. I've found that I've become much more sarcastic as I've opened up in the last few years and really, I'm ok with that. I absolutly love women with a sense of humor. That is a must for me. If you can't take a gentle ribing and return the humor in kind, then we might not be meant for each other. Humor is key. The galaxy has a sense of humor, so should everyone in it. That is my new motto...for the hour.

Now a word on phisique. I'm not a male-model. I never have been and I never will be. I'm working to take off a few pounds but I'm best described by this site as "a little extra padding" If this doesn't work for you, then check back with me in six months and see if I've done anything about it. I'm definatly not one of those guys you see at McDonalds at 10am eating 3 Big Macs becasue breakfast didn't hold them over to lunch, but I do enjoy the occasional indulgence here and there. I sort of have a problem with people who make physical appearance a big issue, but not really. If you are looking for a one night stand then it makes sense you want someone hot. I'm all for that, but I also want to build casual relationships with people, so I think dismissing someone based on physical more than emotional reasons isn't good karma.

I'm done ranting and raving for the night (actually I think I could keep going now that I've started, but no one wants to read more of it.) Thanks if you've read/replied/thought about replying/etc.
