Coast to Coast (radio program)

I work nights (5 nights a week ) and listen to a radio program - Coast to Coast - that is on from 9: 00 pm to 3: 00 am 7 nights a week in the Seattle area - 570 am.

Coast to Coast AM is a late-night syndicated radio talk show which deals with a variety of topics, that often relate to the paranormal.

This post will contain different things I I have heard about and thought were interesting... I am open minded but not fanatic about anything.

I do think certain things are very important - like
world peace
friends and family

So this post is just for fun........

You just never know when or where you will learn something new.......

Any one out there see a UFO? I think I heard one...

I am listening to a radio program that is on from 9: 00 pm to 3: 00 am (Coast to Coast) and listened tonight to an amazing......... interview. some of that information will be on the following........

I was fortunate enough to see a rough cut of the forthcoming Graviton Productions "Dan Aykroyd - Unplugged On UFOs." Aykroyd, long known to be a free-thinker and proponent of UFO reality (in addition to excellent actor and famous improvisational comedian) really weaves a mind boggling thread or two in this fascinating, highly charged interview conducted by David Sereda. Definitely not just for the eggheads, you'll find yourself hearing about and understanding cutting edge issues of quantum physics which are now practically inextricable from the UFO phenomenon and which must be faced if we plan to step gracefully into the 21st century mind-culture on the issue of extraterrestrial visitation, as well as earth-bound endeavors in the race to discover anti-gravity propulsion. Do we already have this technology? And if yes, is it the result of back engineered alien recovery from crashes or intercepts? Sereda and Aykroyd examine the present state of affairs, geopolitically and scientifically, including a very interesting discussion of The Hutchison Effect, with several remarkable film examples of antigravity in action.

Aykroyd displays an encyclopedic knowledge of both physics and UFO history/culture, and bends thoughts and possibilities in ways only he could do, and at times with an uncomfortable (even to Dan!) sense of dark humor for which he is world renown. Who are they? What are they? Why are they here? How do they come and go? Are we their future lunch? Are they here to save us from ourselves? Or are we going to step right into the Twilight Zone and experience a cosmic hoodwink? Sereda masterfully intrigues Aykroyd with all the right elements, and Dan just pours forth an unabashed, intellectually inspiring examination of the big issues in UFOlogy like a seasoned professor. There's not a dull moment in this superb interview which is interspliced with fascinating UFO footage and visuals. Aykroyd comes across as an old soul, with insights and understanding of truly Renaissance proportions.

There is even a shocking personal revelation and experience as told by Aykroyd that will leave you with the hair standing up on the back of your neck! But you'll have to see the DVD to find out what that's all about. No spoiler here. But believe me, it's quite a remarkable encounter with forces we'd just as soon pretend don't exist in order to sleep at night. To hear it from Dan's own mouth makes it all the more riveting and convincing. This DVD will make you think and you'll find yourself rolling the conversation over in your mind many days after you've put it back in the case. A definite must-have for any serious UFOlogical library.

The DVD will be available in November

..........Editorial Reviews..........

Brian O'Leary, PhD
This book not only full of transcendent truths, it is a call to action to shift our current paradigm .

Book Description
In "Hidden Truth ‒ Forbidden Knowledge" Dr. Greer provides his own personal disclosure based on years of high-level meetings with over 450 military and government-connected insiders and whistle-blowers and briefings with senior government officials, such as former CIA Director R. James Woolsey, members of the US Senate and senior UN officials.

In addition to these disclosures, "Hidden Truth ‒ Forbidden Knowledge" unveils the actual contact experiences Dr. Greer has had with UFOs and Extraterrestrial Civilizations, beginning as a young child. In one of the most amazing and moving personal stories ever shared, he explains how after a prolonged near-death experience at age 17, he experienced cosmic consciousness and found the Rosetta Stone of ET contact: the power of the unbounded mind within each of us. Later this led to numerous Close Encounters of the 5th Kind: contact with ETs initiated by Dr. Greer and later by larger groups of people through the CSETI (Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project.

About the Author
Dr. Steven Greer is the Founder and Director of the Disclosure Project. A lifetime member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the nation's most prestigious medical honor society, Dr. Greer is an emergency physician. In addition to heading the Disclosure Project, he has also been supervising a world-wide search for alternative energy sources, specifically those known as zero-point or over-unity devices with the plan to identify and develop systems which will eliminate the need for fossil fuels.

I don't believe everything I hear.
But this is a great way to keep the mind active while at work.
Since I do not have to think about what I am doing at work any more, I alternate between listening to Coast to Coast and if it is just too "off the wall" I listen to my favorite rock/dance music.

It is totally amazing to me about how many different theories there are about what is important.........
and what is really going on ..........

Subject matter and format
(taken from the Wikipedia free online encyclopedia)

Coast to Coast mostly emphasizes very unusual topics, and is full of personal stories related by callers. While program content varies, most nights are focused towards the paranormal. Since the terrorist attacks carried out in the United States on September 11, 2001, the events of that day (as well as conspiracy theories surrounding them) and current U.S. counter-terrorism strategy have also become frequent themes.

The weekday program officially became Coast to Coast AM with George Noory by the end of 2002.The broadcast is typically kicked off with a reading of current events or news stories by the host, with callers weighing in if time permits. This is usually followed by a lengthy interview with the evening's guest, or hours of open phone lines. Occasionally, roundtable discussions are held on one of the show's common topics.

During hours of "open phone lines", calls are taken and put on air without any screening. The show has multiple call-in numbers, of which there are always at least five - for "east of the Rockies", "west of the Rockies", first-time callers, "international callers" and finally a "wildcard" line. They are all announced at the beginning of each broadcast by Ross Mitchell. The opening has become infamous enough to be spoofed on the nationally-syndicated Phil Hendrie Show, with Hendrie imitating Mitchell's trademark deep voice and repeating his one phone number for all four lines.

The Halloween edition of Coast to Coast becomes Ghost to Ghost, as listeners call in with their ghost stories. The New Year's Eve show usually entails listeners calling in their predictions for the coming year, and the host rating the predictions made a year earlier.

Noory is known for his mild-mannered interviewing style
and his willingness to air callers with claims of alien abductions, near-death experiences, and other paranormal topics. Regular listeners who are familiar with the show assert that Noory's tongue-in-cheek sense of humor often makes claims in a deadpan manner that makes it difficult to determine if he is serious.
Noory has more than 37 years of broadcasting experience and has won three Emmy awards.

I share your sentiments here and download all the pod casts and transfer them to mp3 CDs and listen to them when I'm blogging or in place of bedtime stories.
