what is it with women 40+ yoa????

Well the landlord stopped by last night to drop off a copy of the lease and a key. We chatted for about an hour. She is definetely unattached.

She stopped by today as I was unpacking to drop off some other stuff. Again we talked for about an hour maybe a little more. She was definetely flirting a few times and probing as to my status. I asked her if she'd want to get a bite to eat some time and got the usual response i get from women over 41. I got the whole thing about age diffrence, kids in their 20's, etc. Same thing I have heard everytime I have asked a woman over 41 to go out or something. If they were younger or i was a few years older.

I dont understand it. I dont get that hung up on age. Each person is different, some 30 yr olds are like senior citizens, and some people in their 50's are like 25.

Hey, she seems real cool though and fun to shoot the shit with.
Could some woman please explain this to me.

As a woman over 30, I can only say that with all the thin mint models and actresses out there it is hard to believe that someone that is younger then me would actually be sexually attracted to me. She just needs to get her courage up to actually act on those flirts, why not take it up a notch with her next time and see how she responds?

Thanks for the insight. I guess I am bit old fashion in that regard. She said no, (not that bluntly,) or something like a no, so unless she indicates something different, I dont want to offend her, or get cracked upside the head. I cannot figure out the female of the specie in the slightest, so your feedback is much appreciated.

I have no problem with age. It's just a number. To me chemistry is paramount. If I find you attractive whether 25 or 55 and vice versa then go for it. What goes on between two people is their business and their business only.....

There's still a taboo with older women and younger men. I've just recently learned to say frig it, It's the man, not his age.
