To blog... or not to blog. That's the freakin' question!

You know, I've had comments from a few blog readers that are encouraging. Some like my style of writing, other think I'm funny, still others are happy to see a man that likes to express himself. This makes me happy, but...

How many of you actually read blogs and post comments? So far I haven't really been prolific, but I have posted five times. Five posts that, believe it or not, I put some effort into. In five posts I have received a grand total of seven people posting comments. Now, I understand people have better things to do... like getting laid, watching videos and jacking off, ETC.

But it does occur to me that perhaps blogging is not worth the time. After all, half the fun is finding out what others think of your opinions, fantasies, kinks and whatever. I guess I'm whining here (Yes, I'll take some cheese with my whine!) But from a blogger's standpoint it sure would be nice to have a lot of people participating.

Perhaps my blogs aren't that interesting or thought provoking. And I am a guy... that goes against me. Look at mzhunyhole. She gets tons of responses. But she's incredibly sexy and posts wonderfully "dickbeatable" photos with her blogs! Don't get me wrong, she's a wonderful writer and poses some very interesting questions and spellbinds us with her very exciting sexual expolits. (See the one about her butt lube!) But still, gender means a lot here.

Ok, I'll stop whining now... I'm running out of extra sharp cheddar.

P.S. sierraflybabe2: You are a goddess and I would worship the ground you walk on... if only you'd let me... It could start with just a simple email... I keep hoping and dreaming!

Blog whenever you feel like it. It's your blog, you're allowed to post whatever you want as long as you don't violate AdultFriendFinder's terms and conditions. If you're only going to blog just because of "a blogger's standpoint it sure would be nice to have a lot of people participating", then I don't see any point in blogging. Perhaps I view things differently as opposed to the masses since I think blogging should be for oneself and it doesn't matter if other people like what oneself blogs or not. It's your choice. Don't let others dictate what you do.

By the way, I do comment on other people's blogs. Sometimes my comments are long, sometimes they are short. As short as some comments could be, it's really what I think and feel and that's why I post them. For the record, I am not a top blogger like mzhunyhole and the rest. It took me awhile before I could get some regular visitors and posters. Remember this - blog comments aren't everything and you can live without them. At some days, I get a good amount of comments and at some I don't. I am still blogging for myself. Blog to express yourself and not to please others.

Sassy, thanks for your input. Wow, two comments... I feel like it's Christmas! Well, in a way, I do blog for myself... but only to attempt to hone my marginal writing skills. I'm one of those people who likes to entertain others, and like the comic whose dying out there... I crave some kind of response... good, bad... whatever!

Ok, so if that makes me a shallow person, hoping against hope for some validation... I guess I'll be shallow then. Yes, I could go through life giving the world the finger and not caring what or if they think at all... but that's not me. I like others and want to be liked... shoot me!

But thanks for the valuable input. As you say, it may take some time.
