I just read this a few days ago. It's supposed to be true. Probably is.

In the early days of our space program it was discovered that a ball point pen would not work in space due to weightlessness. So scientists spent years and 12 million dollars and finally came up with a pen that would write in space, any position and on almost any surface.

The Russians had the same they used a pencil.

Go figure.

It is amazing how our government finds ways to spend our money.
My BF is in the military,, he says while on depoyment they drank only bottled water, and the empty bottles were landfilled at the base, and it was a mountain of plastic bottles,, what a waste, you would think they would use a water purifier and resusable bottles,
Oh well, that is the goverment for you.
