Too few to mention

"Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention"

You know that line from the song "My Way", I have always thought that if you think like that then you have really learned nothing from life.

To me regrets are a sign that we have learnt something about ourselves, that if we had to do it all again we would do it differently this time and not simply repeat the same old mistakes

Regrets, I've had a lot, but then again, so many to mention!

What do you regret?

For me my biggest regret goes back 15 years.
At that time I was working in Singapore but living in HK and commuting each week. It was a Friday afternoon in late September, I was at the airport about to head back to HK when I realised it was my Mum's birthday on the Sunday, I thought for a while whether to cancel that flight and get on a plane to the UK to see her. I knew she was ill, maybe a bit in denial about how ill she was though, but in the end the prospect of a 12+hr flight there and then the same back was too much, I decided not to bother and spent the weekend at home instead. My mother died 3 months later, actually December 25th, I was there with her at that time, but despite that this regret has stayed with me.

So what is the biggest regret in your life?

Well paps seeing as its you, you're excused lol.

Hmm you must really have had a great life so far to have no real regrets

Or maybe its just me?

I tend to make decisions with my heart rather than my head at times and only learn by my mistakes, so I have plenty of regrets. Other people might just say the problem is I have never really grown up enough

dankos hey no problem at all,
We all have those days (I know I do to), and messages are such an easy form to misread as there is no "body language" to convey the more subtle signals of everyday conversation...
peace... yep

Well I must also admit I can be bad at learning from mistakes especially the more enjoyable one's.

Life is too short to live it safely, we should all, to some extent, live on the edge where mistakes are made, otherwise it would be so boring.
