Sweeping graves

Today is a holiday here.

Its the day we all are supposed to go and sweep the graves of our passed loved ones, so, fittingly for the last of the songs from the current chapter of Sid's book of wisdom, here is one that sweeps a "grave" of a "past" loved one.

Like water wears a way a stone
Time gently erodes memories
And when love's been replaced
By a bitter aftertaste
It's hard to recall
Just what started it all

Days turned to years and went by
And my tears evetually dried
But the salt that remained
Made me thirsty again
Well nobody's all bad
And I couldn't stay mad

But when I saw you again today
My resistance just crumbled away
And I remembered what I thought I'd forgotten
