Who are we? REALLY?

I ask , who are we do we know for sure? Took me years to figure out I was really gay and thats who I am and always will be. However, do we all really know who we are and what we want in life? I know what I want and who I am but why did it take so long to figure this out? Because people are not accepting of who we are and what we become unless it fits in thier lifestyle and morals. I was always afraid to say I was gay because of alll the judgement that others bring against you. However now I am standing up and telling the world who I am and I love who I have become. I am no longer lying about who and what I am. The world judges us by our cover not by whom we are and what we have done. INside I am like any other man or woman, I am a human being. I love people, I love to flirt, I love to cry , I love to help others when they need it. ANd I love to make others smile. Is that any different from anyone else on this planet? NO I say unless you are a self centered person. I am who I am and if you dont like the way I am and they way I treat and do for others than I guess you are not to be in my circle of friends. I am stragith forward about what I am and who I like and what my feelings are, I dont hold back anything. DO YOU? Are you afraid to be you and do things that make you happy even if someone else dont like it or you might lose a friend? Well if you lose a friend over it then they were no friend to begin with. I was acused of being a player, why? Because someone didnt like the way I flirt and will flirt with anyone coming in and out of a room. Dont everyone deserve attention in this life? Whether its a hello how are you? Or would ya like to sit by me and get a hug? Hell we are on the interent, cyber world as some may call it? Are you looking for some fun or for a relationship? Tell me and I will tell you IM a flirt, howver when it comes to havgin fun and being with someone, I let others know I am taken and that its all hamrless flirting. If ya dont like it then leav me alone. Hmmmm, can anyone handle me being so blunt? Tell me what ya think.

I don't think most people really start getting comfortable with themselves until they are well past their 30's. I think part of the reason is that it takes so much energy to try to be someone you are not and by that age you no longer have the patience or the energy to keep it up, lol.
