How does a guy get an answer?

I've griped about the type of emails I usually get. In my profile, I specifically state that one line messages and a lot of other things will be deleted immediately, unread.

So, what kind of email gets an immediate response from me? The one-liner below did it.

Okay, I am still laughing from reading your blog. You are quite impressive, to say the least!

Are all you guys confused now? I thought so. Sorry. But I'll bet all the ladies know why I answered him.

No. I'm not confused. It's wonderful to read the written words of an inteligent woman.

~wipes tears from laughing~

Sometimes I wish there was a rule in place that stated-"If you don't understand it, don't touch it!"

I so understand! I am glad that you got a proper email! This goes to one I just got today myself, and it got me thinking, "I read your blog a lot, and I think I'm half way in love with your thoughts Cowboy"

Goes to show us all that people do take the time to get to know somebody instead of saying something crude.

Obviously this person has the 'right stuff' and deserves to have gotten a response from such a fabulously witty and pretty woman...

'wasn't me' ..

Ohhhhhhh! Compliments. Flattery. Appealing to your mind. So, essentially, you want us to kiss your ass! Wait a minute! I've been offering to do that for weeks, begging even and nary a peep! I'm so confused!

Pink - glad you enjoyed it!

Cowboy - Blue once answered my question about what made him interested in a woman by saying, "Their interest in me." Yes, genuine interest is different, n'est pas?

Efil - you always say the right thing (but your spelling sucks)

sillyperv - honey, we're just not close enough

Well... I can see the appeal in what this person wrote. It is much easier to recognize the right or wrong thing when you read it... than to know exactly what to say when you are trying to write it yourself. I am glad you found someone who reached you. I look forward to hearing how he does going forward. Hopefully just as well.

Lol,i think i sent an email to Kelli obviously didnt rate..seeing as i got no response, but i didnt take offence, sending an email should never give once the right to think they deserve one back..anbd mine was sent because i felt i wanted to express something to her....not because i felt the need for her to reply....i'm just so pleased to see that my testimonial is there for all to see on my view of our wonderfully vivacious Kelli...Happy Valentines Day beautiful!!

Staynhard - I accepted your network invite, yes? And I am very flattered by your testimonial. As I said on my original profile, POLITE men ... LOL!!! You're a sweetie, and I think any woman who meets you will be impressed.

Thank you, honey.

OK love..... I'm going to give you another tongue lashing (see Checking my profile ... ). There's no particular reason why...just feel like it, perhaps I want you.

Anyway.....that "one-liner" that you quoted was, in all probability, exactly that!!! Manufactured to make you feel as if such-and-such had really taken the time to get to know you as a person and likes you for who you truly are.

And yes....ohh I am such a poor sorry "no-good" ignorant sap for not understanding. I am so confused, as you put it (SARCASM).....

Don't you worry sugar!! I'll keep trying to understand and be a real man. (more SARCASM).

IN ALL SERIOUSNESS: I'm actually pretty easy going most of the time and I'm sorry if I offended you (too much). Occasionally I just have to strike back though

And....after all....I was offended by what you wrote

Are you easily offended? Do you often go looking for blogs that make you angry? Do you feel a need to take women to task if they don't fit your preconceptions? Since you have found two of my posts that you don't like, perhaps you should refrain from visiting again. I would hate to be an interruption of your easy going nature.

There are a lot of reasons people blog. I post mainly for entertainment, my own and those who visit here. But, you've accomplished your purpose. My mood is now shot for the day.

It is impossible to go through life without offending someone. The quality of those you offend lets you know if you're on track.
