WHY DO YOU FEAR ME?

YOU TEACH YOUR CHILDREN AT AN EARLY STAGE TO FEAR ME, BECAUSE OF MY SKIN COLOR/TONE.
WOMEN GRAB THEIR PURSES, TIGHT, WHEN I WALK BY.
YOU LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS, WHEN I CROSS THE STREET, IN FRONT OF YOUR AUTOMOBILES.
YOU PUT YOUR SECURITY STAFF ON ME, WHEN I WALK IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENTS TO SPEND MY MONEY, WHICH I'VE WORKED FOR AT LEAST FORTY(40) HOURS TO DO AS I, AND MY FAMILY CHOOSE TO DO WITH.
YOU TALK AT ME, INSTEAD OF TALKING TO ME.
YOU ASSUME I AM UNEDUCATED, AND SOCIALLY INAPT.
YOU DO ALL THESE THINGS TO ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR STEREOTYPICAL ATTITUDE, IGNORANCE, LACK OF TOLERANCE, AND FEAIBLE MIND.
ALL BECAUSE OF MY SKIN COLOR/TONE.
NOTE; I AND MY FAMILY/PEOPLE, STILL LOVE YOU, AS PEOPLE.

Hi. I have read your blog and would like 2 give my personal opinion. Y I wonder do u think people pursue u like that? I am originally from South Africa, so I would like 2 give u my view. Don't trie 2 Analise people and think it is u they r aiming at.... I am a white female and because I am not from this country I thought people were looking at me funny.... and I have not spoken a word yet!
Do u wanna know what I did? I changed my mindset and realized I was wrong... They were not looking at me funny, but rather with a question mark. They were wondering what kind of a person I was... How did I see their country, did I like it here? After I have spoken 2 a view of the kiwis here, do u wanna know what I found...? I were more afraid of them, then they were of me.... because we knew nothing about each other.... Try a different outlook on life... It may surprise u more than u could ever think.... Love has no boundaries in all walks of life.

I agree. Unfortunetly, you believe I have the problem. If you read my comments, you will find, I'm the one, which is willing to reach out, and have an intelligent conversation, with anyone. Because, people need to be enlightened. You assume, I have an attitude. You're assumption is incorrect. I'm reaching out, trying to engage, and educate people. Nothing more. Thank you for your comments. Have a great day.

Racism is ignorance but unfortunately it is something that seems to be spreading. For a long time Ireland would have considered itself a non racist country but that was only beacuse there was no one here to be racist against. Since the celtic tiger came about we have had a lot of imigration and have become a very racist country. This disappoints me judging people because of colour sex or religion shows a deep level of iggnorance usually based on fear. This is not helped by the news media's portrayal of ethnic minorities as being dangerous. The world is condensing and all societys are becoming more multi cultural it's time people grew up and realised that we are all the same and should be given the same oppertunities to prove ourselves regardless of our race.

I agree, with you. But, unfortuntely people are becoming more fearful, everyday, and fear separates people, rather than unite people. Thanks. Have a great day.

I can't speak for everyone but I can tell you that it's not you, not your color either. I have a general distrust for PEOPLE I don't know. And the reason I am distrusting is due to personal experiences and only one of them was outside of my own race. A prime example is not to take it so personal when I watch you in the parking lot, if you'll notice I'm watching EVERYONE walking in the area...because I had someone jump my ex trying to steal our truck. I suspect the guy was hopped up on drugs. After I moved from home I lived next door to a gypsy camp. Yes, an honest to goodness gypsy camp. Anything that wasn't nailed down wasn't safe around them and they hosted cock fights on a regular basis. One day I was working at a fabric store and recognized one of them coming in and they didn't recognize me. I told the manager to watch them and why. Sure enough this one woman put an ENTIRE BOLT OF FABRIC down her pants. I was freakin' amazed...but the point is she wasn't black. The known pedophile that stalked my youngest daughter for several years was a young/middle aged, educated, white male driving a Mercedes. IMO people in general aren't really a nice lot, which is why I hold so dear the ones that really mean something to me. Probably doesn't make you feel any better because I'll still be watching you in the parking lot, but at least you'll know why...at least until I get to know you.

I'm sorry for your bad experiences. However, I willsay, I don't mind you watching me, as long as you have the same mistrust for everyone in that parking lot. However, in 90% of the situation you described, people of European descent in America, are only watching and fearing the man of African descent, in that parking lot(especially at night). So, as long as you treat us as the same as anyone else, we have no problems. We're not asking for special treatment, or anything else. We just want the same treatment, and opportunity. Thanks for your comments. Have a great day.
