Getting The Band Back Together...

...if anyone knows a good accordion player, please send them my way.

When I was a kid, I wanted to learn to play the flute but we couldn't afford to buy or rent the instrument.

I have pondered my fantasy band and what instrument i would play. Bass players are pretty cool but they don't get to move around much.
I finally decided on the drums.

Two reasons for this.

You get to beat the hell out of something and drummers have great deltoids.

I have mzhunyhole in mind as my lead singer; I see her as Janis.

I welcome any who would like to audition.

Amber my friend, you've got the job! Start practicing.

I think I'll ask Keith to play the upright bass. He's already got the cool shades.

Well... You already have a drummer and that's the only thing I ever learned. Cant sing either... I sound like a cat in a dryer!

Hmmm.. Groopie? Roadie?

This is a fantasy band.
I can't play the drums either.
You can dance in a cage wearing a sparkly dress and white boots if you want to.

If you can't find an accordian player, how 'bout some Chicago-style brass reed coloratura. Can play swamp rock, and Texas and West Coast shuffles, in addition to Delta Blues. Will bring 12 Hohner Mississippi saxophones, Fender Super Reverb with four 10-inch speakers, and an Astatic JT-30 microphone.

You have caused
me to go to the dictionary twice now. Not a bad thing but when am I going to work "coloratura" into a sentence? I have a hard enough time with "paradox" and "sine qua non"

I once met a man who played in a harmonica orchestra.

Practice at my house next Friday night.

I'm there girlfriend! I want to do some singing too. Since I can't tune an upright base my vocals should compliment my playing beautifully.

I've always wanted to be a harmonica player in a band, i like the Mandolin too, took a few lessons even. I look kinda like
"thebrezeee" only my hairs lots greyer and i think a little longer, and my beard lots thiner; despite being from Texas originally i don't have a cowboy hat. I realize i'm a month late but do i have a chance in this fantasy band?
