Story Of The Eye

Before The Story of O, there was the Story of the Eye, written in 1928 by French novelist/essayist Georges Bataille, who pretty much coined the term "eroticism", giving it a whole new dimension by including the underlying sexual basis of religion and philosophy, especially in the obsession in death. And I just found out today that it has been adapted to a movie. Probably not a good idea. The erotic is always better portrayed in words rather than in images and films because the only limit you have in writing is your imagination.

When we think of adultery, we also think of novels like The Scarlet Letter, Madame Bovary, Anna Karenina or D. H. Lawrence's works. When we think of sado-masochism, we think of Sacho-Masoch's Venus in Fur, Sade's 120 Days of Sodom or The Story of O. Deflowering virgins - Laclo's Dangerous Liaisons. Cross-dressing - Victor/Victoria or Some Like It Hot. Castration - The Realm of the Senses. But what about peeing during sex?

I received a nicely penned email recently from a guy who seems to be very much into oral and 69 like me. I clicked on his profile - shock shock horror horror - and found out that he enjoyed being peed on during sex. I told him I do not do that. He wrote back and said it's OK. Not many people are anyway so he quenches his thirst by watching it in pornography. I still haven't decided whether to meet him or not. Since then, however, I got curious and I wanted to know the first reference ever to the golden shower in literature. And I think it's Story of the Eye:

All at once, to everyone's horror, Simone fell upon the floor. A convulsion shook her harder and harder, her clothes were in disarray, her bottom stuck in the air, as though she were having an epileptic fit. But rolling about at the foot of the boy she had undressed, she mumbled almost inarticulately:

"Piss on me ... Piss on my cunt ... " she repeated, with a kind of thirst.

It has got a strange plot, but the imagery is very powerful. I like how the cunt is compared to the eye. It is no longer a passive object that's being looked at, but it looks back as well. I wonder if anyone remembers the Alain Mikli ad campaign a few years back, in which an image of a female eye was placed vertically and it was simply as beautiful as a cunt.

Not sure whether the word "cunt" aptly describes what I would consider as one of the beautiful wonders of the world!

I prefer women with wet spurty orgasms over golden showers unfortunately seems less than 10% of women can really drench the bed with it.
