real life or virtual?

humanity has created a many number of things some bad (weapons) some good (medicine) and some questionable (cheese in a can??) so where do you rate computer fix ups. obviously this is a bit of a bias place to ask that question but honestly would you rather meet someone in a bar have a quickie and see how it goes or flirt online until u feel you know the person well enough to meet in the real world and hope you still fancy them in person?

real life looks better and better. The frustration is to much here.
To much of the vitual is nothing more than a delusion. Sorry to be so negative, but if clarity is called for this is the truth. Wide awake in dreamland.

Youth is perhaps served best where physical contact, from eye contact to touch) is available. Here cybering, the connections sought are heavily biased according to mental compatibilities.

The physical world provides for instant gratification; something typically associated with younger generations. The cyber world requires patience and selectivity with the reward of something longer and more meaningful in duration.

These are of course, generalities. There are certainly older individuals incapable of the necesary patience, and there may well be younger people who desire something other than a "quickie".

PS> I have met a dozen people here and have rather enjoyed myself. In bloggimg, I made more friends than in either avenue these past few months.

Nothing can replace physical contact, BUT this medium allows you to come in contact with so many more people than you could in person. That is where the benefits of cyber come in, you can make hundreds of contacts, sort them out and pick the ones you want to pursue.
