For the love of SHIT!!!
I cannot, for the life of me, find a GOOD BLOG site to take the place of HATELIFE. A blog site that isn't just your personal page, but something similar to this, where you can see other users and posts, and respond and so forth. A place where the pages are customizable, and you can add old/backdated/archived entries. I need to get away from my old one and start a new one and put in all my old entries from here and there. I'm not leaving HERE, but I want a blog where the primary tone of the site is neutral, and not just sex/personals.

Every place I have looked at sucks. Myblog sucks, Livejournal SEEMS to suck, Myblogsite has no community, and all the others don't seem to do any kind of importing of old entries.

Can anyone suggest a public blog/journal site that can be customized, have photos, enter older entries (even if by hand, one at a time), and has a good user interface without me having to have expert knowledge of a coding language? AND list other members and their pages??

I would appreciate it soooo much if someone would help me out.

Have you given a look? Its not quite as entertaining as this site but it does have a photo album for you to upload pictures in and you can customize fonts/backgrounds/etc. You also don't have to be an html master to figure out how to make things look nice, either.

I posted a comment to this earlier today and it seems to be gone...let me know if you got it or not...

Well, that sucks...and not in the good way either!

In my previous post that seems to have lost its way, I suggested Blogger, as well as Live Journal.

Blogger is easy to use and they have a program to download with it that let's you upload your pictures. They don't, however, have any communities that I'm aware of, but they link your interests to the interests of others. Example: if you put in your interests "elephants", then it will link you with others who also like them. They don't have any pop up ads, but they have a bar across the top of the page. It can be removed, though. Too, you can use their templates or a template from other web sites. You can add anything you want to the side bar, as long as you know how to do it. I can help you with the coding if you need. I'm more an HTML person than a CSS one, but I've learned to add things to my own blog without any problem. I've been using Blogger for about a year now. The best thing about them is they're free and easy to use.

As far as LiveJournal is concerned: I just started a new journal there. I didn't like their free service all that much, so I opted to pay for two months just to test it out. It's definitely better when you're a paid member. You can search other journals, find communities, change your page around a bit, upload pictures, and link to your friends pages with ease. If you don't pay for it, it's just a basic page without much advantages to it. But if they give you what you want, 20 bucks a year isn't too bad. I plan to stick with mine.

If you want to view either/both of my blogs to see the differences, let me know, and I'll figure out a way to get the links to you. I think AdultFriendFinder deleted my last post because it had my email address in Oh well.

I really like reading your stuff, so if you do start a blog somewhere, keep me posted.
