I shaved completely once a few years ago and I've been hooked ever since. There is a lot more sensation when there is no hair to get in the way.

I couldn't agree more. I've even pushed this on my own blog in the past. I've been shaving for a while now and been enjoying my V lately. My thoughts:

1) I started because I was tired of growing/shrinking/moving things grabbing and pulling hair. Ouch! In that respect, it's awfully nice. Much less need to 'adjust' when you shave. Of course some men will find that a detriment if they enjoy 'adjusting' a little too much.

2) It's also a matter of style. As above, so below. Unkempt is uncool. (Same goes for women and men there.) You don't have to go totally bald, but the wild bush is scary. Trim the hedge. It adds to the property value.

3) Skin is more sensitive when it can actually be touched. This is fun!

4) People appreciate not having to spit out hair.

5) Shaving damages skin. Take care of your skin. Use moisturizer, aloe, whatever after you shave. It makes a difference.

6) To add to number 5, a great trick I've found to help with the irritation that can be caused by shaving sensitive areas is to shave before or in the shower, before you clean. Then use shampoo and conditioner on the shaved areas like you would on your head. It helps.

7) Men, avoid things like Nair on your balls, even if you get a formula for down there. That ridge through the center will get eaten alive even if the rest of the skin is perfectly fine. I'm assuming women must not have a similar weak spot because if they did such products simply wouldn't exist. Definitely go with shaving.

Men, you'll probably also want to use a real razor on your balls, not an electric. The scrotum is a stretchy wrinkly place and electrics can suck that skin up and grind away on it in very painful ways. Where as shaving cream and a slow moving large blade can glide along.

Well, that's all that comes to mind. Hope I've been of some help.

PS: Can you get the Philips Bodygroomer in the states? I thought there was some controversy going on about that or something.

Thanks for the tutorial, Vrec! I'll try my hand at some weed-wacking sometime. (That didn't sound quite right!)

Questions for you, Ho_Yes:

When you see a man with the lawn around his bag o' tricks and walkin' stick trimmed way back, right then, is it a visually stimulating turn-on for you? Or is the real turn-on for you when you get into the act and don't have to hassle with the hair?

When does it go too far? Does clearing off the playground count for anything if I still look like I'm wearing a gorilla suit everywhere else?

Would a Nike swoosh look too commercial?
