TO FORK OR NOT TO FORK

I was at my job today when someone made the comment that a forklift driver has an easier job than an assembler at a busy and large factory. From a driver's perspective to this statement I say," Imagine driving a civilized version of a vehicle you would have seen in Mad Max that weighs more than 7000lbs. has two solid steel razor sharp forks protruding from the front. NOW imagine this same vehicle carrying precarious loads that weigh up to 5000lbs. down the sidewalk in any major city's busy downtown district near you and them same people are only worried about themselves and are not paying you no heed around many industrial hazards for a full 8 hour shift." That is what this someone I work with thought was an easy day. So to all you factory workers out there, remember that forklift driver has all your safety in his hands. so be kind and step aside.
