Have you ever wondered how your childhood has affected your sexuality? What type of "taboos" were planted in your mind due to your upbringing? I was raised in the Bible Belt in the southern US. I was taught that masturbation was equivalent to cheating on your future spouse. Now, having been taught that adultery is a one-way ticket to hell, this little girl would not be participating in that activity. I was also taught that a woman's role was to please her husband and not to worry about her own needs. What a pile of ~^~!! I went through quite a lot before I realized that just because someone that was in an authority position was spewing this stuff, I did not have to live by it. I was 27 years old before I realized this. I was 28 before I had my first orgasm. It took me a long time to get comfortable with touching myself. I also was married for quite a while and did not experience one bit of sexual pleasure during this time. I had sex with my ex-husband just so that he would leave me alone and let me sleep. It was a while after the divorce before I could relax during sex, much less enjoy myself.

I'm so glad I finally woke up and saw everything for what it was. I'm really enjoying exploring my sexuality, and exploring it with other people.

Y'all have a Happy New Year!!!!

Boy do I know what you mean. I only had two orgasms up til the age of 38. I also felt uncomfortable about touching myself. I also had hurry-up sex with my husband just to get the bastard off of me. Until I found the love of my life Mr.Bambi I did not enjoy sex. But now I can not wait. It's that good. Things will get better and I wish you all the luck in the world. Bambi
