I'm amazed at how little time we spend truly enjoying ourselves in this little life of ours...
A couple of nights ago, I decided to just "turn it off". I switched off the television, grabbed a cigar and headed off to the beach.
It was a beautiful moonlit night and the surf was perfect...slow rythmic motions..in and out..
I found the night air soothing as I shed the burdens of the day. My pace slowed as I dispensed thought after thought, worry after worry and piece of clothing after piece of clothing (lol).
The night air excited me with its slightly chilled touch countered by the warmth (and taste) of the cigar....
After the longest time, I relucantly headed back towards home. Slowly gathering my clothes and wits.
Then just before I left, I turned and swore to myself I will do this more often...life's cheapest times are often the MOST satisfying!
Sometimes "You just have to turn it all off (Jordi LeForge)"
Have a GREAT day!!!!
