I Can't Help It!

This is one of the post that Ger really wanted me to post for him while he is hopefully NOT killing himself on the softball field.

Ger's ghost commenter.

I can't help myself. I am a competitive person. It is in my nature. Now through time, I have learned to monitor myself a little and tone it down a bit (age seems to have that effect), but the fact remains that there have been times in my life where everything is a contest.

It doesn't really matter what "it" may be, I want to beat you at it... I need to beat you at it. Nothing personal, I simply just can't let you win. I will even make up games, sometimes not telling the other person, just to kick their ass at them.

So I made up a little list of things I have been know to compete in.

1. Any Sport, anytime and anywhere.

2. Running on the treadmill. I carry on private competitions with other people at the gym, unknown to them. If we get on at the same time, I will stay longer. You set yours at 8, mine's at 8.5.

3. Same with Yoga, I'll hold Warrior Pose for as long as it takes.

4. Any Xbox game.

5. Being the first off the line at any stoplight or stop sign.

6. Dressing the fastest in the locker room. I can do both my tie and tie my shoes in less than a minute.

7. Board Games - Is yelling "In your face" appropriate behavior when play Candyland with a 5 year old?

8. Any physical labor. I will work longer and dig my hole faster.

9. Anything someone tells me I can't do. It has then become my goal to be better at that thing then the person who told me I couldn't do it.

10. Blog - no just kidding. I don't have to be competitive in blogging because I only compete with myself. I'm winning and pretty decisively. As long as I continue to beat myself, I'm happy

Good question. We will have to get him to answer that when he gets back.

I'll hold downward facing dog longer than you!

BTW -- Has it ever occurred to you that all yoga poses are simply interesting ideas for sex positions!

rm_gerson42 replies on 7/30/2006 3:06 pm:
I am sure that has occurred to him. Let's hope that you can hold that position longer than he can.

Regarding #6, It doesn't count with a clip-on tie and velcro on the shoes!

I am also competitive by nature. The only time I "throw" a result is if I am playing a game with Little Frangi.

So if I was to have a staring/no blinking competition with you, you think you could win?? I'd even make a wager on that one...

Hope the tournament went well.

Frangi x

Yes I think I could win, but for god's sake woman, your halfway around the world. OOOh.. a wager. Tourny did go well, thankyou.

I'm with Frangi on the staring contest. I have stared down a Great Horned Owl. Good luck in the tournament.

I have to echo the testosterone comment, lol.
Oh Ger, you're such a MAN

(not that there's anything wrong with that)
I like men.

I got sent home from the tournament early. I had to take a pee test and my testosterone had spiked. Love the man comment.

Ladies, I resemble the testostone jabs!

Some of us express our feminine side better than others. One way I do that is to find such fiercely competitive men, hire them, and get them to put all that competitive impulse to work for me. (Meow!)
