a rant and a smile

First the rant. It's just that I hate the feeling that as a swinging couple we have to be 'in the closet' even though there are millions of us around! If you are single, whatever your sexuality you can always have a good chance of meeting someone in a bar, a club or even at work. However, the only ways for couples to meet are on sites like this one, through magazines or in a swingers club - and the clubs really don't give you a chance to get to know the other couple. I suppose I am asking too much here, but wouldn't it be nice to be accepted for who we are? I seriously believe that a lot of couples who swing openly are more likely to stay together than those who don't, because then there is no temptation to 'stray'. It's a free country and we are breaking no it is all between consenting adults. What do you think?
Now the smil - we had always said couples only for us, but having suffered a lot from timewasters we decided what the hell, let's go for a single guy. It was brilliant! We have a meet arranged with another one, but he is bi so can have fun with us both rather than little me getting spoiled rotten, and I can hardly wait for that. It seems that all of our boundaries are being explored and pushed back all the time!
I feel sooo free and happy on that score and each experience seems to bring us closer as a couple too.
Back to the serious bit though, I would like to know how others feel about being closeted and will be watching out for your messages.

Glad you found some fun, timewasters are the bane of everyones life on a site such as this.
Lets hope none of us meet any more of them
And yes you are right we should be allowed to be open about who and what we are, swinging seems to engender trust in relationships and that can only be good for them
