The Kentucky Gentleman

From 1945-1964, America experienced a great boom--the baby boom. And we boomers have been stirring things up ever since. Now some of us are turning 60! No, not us. Aren't Boomers immortal? I thought so in a gorgeous spring of '68 when I held hands with a golden haired girl as we read poetry to each other on the college lawn under a large oak tree. But we boomers are no longer kids. Today, my favorite president(I voted for him twice)Bill Clinton turned 60. I like to believe that we are not getting older; we are getting better and like good wine, we just get better with time. "For everything there is a season...turn turn turn turn...a time to live, a time to die, a time to laugh, a time to cry...." Now we come to the autumn of our years. Rock on Boomers Rock on. And Happy birthday Bill!

Happy Birthday Bill!! The Saxaphone Man
He might end up back in the White House before
all has been said and done...time will tell

Yup, we went to different schools together...
The SIXTY sign is right around the corner...for
me too! And I'm excited! It's going to be the
best birthday EVER for me and I'm going to celebrate
right up to it! New Years Eve! The last day of the year
for me! Helping Bill blow out his candles, today {=}

Just a little food for thought.............
If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you...
