Captain Jackson

In the City of Jackson, MI, for the last 15 and then some years, there has been a real-life action hero who has masqueraded in a disguise helping the elderly, children and various causes. He has actually helped in the stopping of some minor crimes, he has helped where the police and fire department usually would. And he has actually remained anonymous.

Last week, he got pulled over and arrested for drunk driving. I understand he is a citizen, and like all citizens who break the law, deserves to be judged by it. But I do find it hypocritical that the police officer didn't offer a little proffessional courtesy. After all, how come police officers with one of the highest rates of alcoholism, almost never get drunk driving tickets? PROFFESSIONAL COURTESY!!!!!

Once again, we see how hypocritical the law enforcement arm of our government is. This man deserved a free pass if anyone did. Perhaps a ride home from the cop. Does anyone find it a little interesting that the Jackson police won't release the name of the arresting officer?

The next time anyone sees a fat assed cop sitting at a donut stop, watching speeders go by, but waiting for the old rusty car with the teenager in it, to decide to pull someone over, remember what a bunch of moral ethical gun toting people they really are.

Hi Snowbird,

LOL, yeah, I have a few friends who now refer to themselves as snowbirds. I actually live outside Detroit, Royal Oak to be exact. But it was a newstory that I couldn't ignore. Hope you're weathering this winter well! (tongue in cheek) Actually, the weather here has been rather not Michigandish, if thats a word. It has been unseasonally warm. But not as hot as your photo! Had to put that in, my gentlemanly skills are only functional for so long.

Thanks for writing to my blog!
