Comfort zone/s

We like bbq'd beef meat. We like char and we also like it medium rare. When we cut into it we like to see a deep pinkish centre and a puddle of beef juice left behind after forking our faces off.

This last week-end in blog land, some stuff came along that got me caught up in ideas that I would normally watch and not get involved in.

Except this time I really wanted to say something because what was being said was good stuff about how people really feel or think about their experience with others.

I want to call what we like or don't like, 'comfort zones' and admit that zones can change over time, depending how thin or thick skinned we are, if we really want them to.

Jolene and I have this thing about meeting new people and trying to figure out if all of us really fit well together because even though we're here for sex - we're kinda spoiled with the hot steamy kind - that feels grrrreat!!

Our sexual comfort zone is simple. We luv screwing our own asses off and also luv mfm-ing with one guy about once a month. We're not high-volume folks nor are into variety. Yes, we're kinda stuck. We're very satisfied with what's goin on.

We're very satisfied in the mfm zone mostly because, not once, since we met him - has he said or done anything to piss us off. All of us share similar 'twisty-dark(er)' humour and we talk about anything with each other. Yes, we all have opinions but we've never clashed over one damn thing. Cool, eh??

So here's the deal. When I jumped up on the soap-box to vent on the topic of the day - I was not in the most comfortable part of my comfort zone. I'd rather be a laughing smart-ass than a serious sounding prick. Apparently, I have issues. I guess I better deal with them soon but honestly, nothing pisses me off better than high-class folks who have less class or grace than some the working poor folks I've come to know.

For us, our comfort zone will always be 'how everyone gets along' before anything else.

Now Jolene, would you allow me to dribble some beef juice over your platter today?

I guess I have a confort zone, my ex-girlfriends and ex-wife come around every once in awhile.
