Prelude to "Riding the Waves": The Gathering Storm

You arrive dressed in your favorite black velvet cloak, heels, and your Skin.

I take your hand as you cross the threshold and shut the door on the past. Parting your folded softness, I drop on bended knee and kiss your lips. As I rise, I trace the twin curves of your sides as I offer one long embrace that ends at the offer of your neck.

I step back and let go of the knot, the silk that covers me falls revealing my pure response to your arrival.

We pause to offer each other fruit and mead from the candlelit table. You take my hand, and as we walk without words to our bed you leave your heels in your footsteps, unclasp your cloak, a trail revealing your offer of a vulnerable soul.

I hear the rustle of the velvet collapsing as you pull me onto and into you...

passion without words
desires cries echo off walls
thunder of waves crest
