Kiss of Death

Have been exchanging text messages with someone whose profile kinda intrigued me on here. Was at a bit of a loose end last Sunday so I invited him out for wot I would call a "meet and greet". Just to check out whether (in the words of the funky, purple-loving, height-challenged one a.k.a. Prince) "something about the clouds in him mixed".

When I first saw him, the initial impression was that he was as attractive as the photo on his profile -- tall, attractive physique. Certainly someone I could imagine .. umm.. 'dancing' with. We had dinner and he kept on talking... and talking... and talking. I don't know whether he was nervous and felt the need to just keep talking. I didn't really mind it, I was feeling kinda 'mellow' and would have been quite happy to let him talk all night if the topic wasn't the loooooong string of all his ex-es. I mean, OK... we are not about to walk up the aisle or anything horrific as that but I just thought that out of all the topics available under the sun to natter away about ad nauseam (with a woman you are meeting for the first time, mind) ex-gfs/lovers doesn't rank as one of the best.

Maybe I am being too 'harsh' but if that is not the kiss of feckin' death to any possibility of a 'liaison', I don't know wot is. He's a nice enough guy but I don't want to be included in the (rather detailed) litany of lovers/conquests that he would most prolly spew to his next date.

Something about the clouds in him just didn't mix.

funky purple-loving, height challenged one.10/10 for descriptive prowess foxy.
For your date 10/10 on what never to talk about on first dates.

Would have thought one of his many exes would have shared that info with

Full marks? How very generous of you AmberSolaire! LOL

As for my 'date', prolly that's why his list of ex-es is longer than my arm! *LOL*
