Question

So, here's a setting: You are at the bar, having a few drinks with friends and you spot a guy/girl that you find very attractive and wouldn't mind making a move on.

What's the first move you like to make on someone you find attractive? Or do you let them make the first move? How do you let them know you are interested?

I would have to get a lot of nerve to come up with a clever pick up line and approach her. If all goes well, talking and dancing away the night. Then I would hope to take her home!!!

Carpe Diem

I don't really think "pick up lines" work.. but buying me a drink would be a good start! If I see a guy I find attractive at the bar... I would normally just try to make eye contact and then wait a bit to see if he'll make a move. if that doesn't work i would dance near him and make sure he gets a few good looks at how i move my body

I have found that it is very difficult to pick up women in bars. When they're with their friends, they usually want to be left alone. It seems like us guys can never do the right thing. If we don't approach you, we find out later (or in bloggs) that we should have. If we do approach you, we're creeps.

What can we do to get it right?

And I agree, pick-up lines never work!

If I'm really intresed, I'll send her a drink. If she's in the mood, she'll come and find out a little about the drink sender. If she likes me and my personality it will go further. If she doesn't, it will stop right there.
They usually like me and we get into deaper conversation. At that point I have to decide if I want to keep it going.
After a few more drinks and a few dances we might go to her place, my place or the parking lot. I had great sex in the parking lot at a bar in Prescott last week end. She even asked me to drill her in the pooper ... so I did.
