Individualism

When I look across a crowd I see shapes of all colors and sizes, faces and eyes, other human images in the likeness of my own. Sometimes I feel I know these people, yet other times I feel distant and unconnected. We are all the same, yet in our own light we are different and unique, slowly molded into who we are by the advancement of life and the choices we have made during our travels. From womb to adult we have created this thing called, individualism, something that no-one can fully judge without the same exact insight and knowledge and life experiences. It bothers me to consider that fat people are all the same, or that all black people hate whites. indeed I hate the notion of our existing in a stereotyped world where simply by viewing the pictures we believe we can summerize these individual people. To each I offer a bit of individual space, a small spot of freedom to live just as you are, in your own individual likeness and image. But that's me, a personal door to the outside world I have refused to close in my travels to becoming me.
