Things that make you despair...

Some things really do make you despair of the human race. Take for instance product labels.

Now, product manufacturers do not, I am sure, put these product warnings on their product just for the hell of it. I assume that someone has caused them to add these wanrings to their products (probably by being dumb, then suing the company):

Packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes on body." OK, I'll try to remember that?!

Child's Superman costume: "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly." What? SPLAT!

A baby stroller warns: “Remove child before folding" Where's the baby gone?

A warning on an electric drill made for carpenters cautions: “This product not intended for use as a dental drill.” Just hold still mr. Smith...

And these are just labels that the manufacturer hasn't thought through:

Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down." Doh!

Boot's Children Cough Medicine: "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication." For heaven's sake get little Jimmy of that forklift!

Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness." Good!

Swedish chainsaw: "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals." My eye's are watering just thinking of what action caused that warning to be put on.

A bottle of drain cleaner warns: “If you do not understand, or cannot read, all directions, cautions and warnings, do not use this product.” What does this say Marge?

An “Aim-n-Flame” fireplace lighter cautions: “Do not use near fire, flame or sparks” Huh?!
