A New Start, New Friends, New Life

Business is taking me to the south country and I can't wait. A new start … a new life … and most important ... new friends.

The worse thing about living in South Dakota has always been the never-ending winters. They say that there are only two seasons in South Dakota. "Winter and July." In July it's hot and humid, and the rest of the year is just damn cold.

I need what Arizona has to offer as far as the weather. Hot doesn't bother me. And the great thing is that it's a dry heat. In South Dakota, you can almost swim in the heat of the summer.

I've never been to Phoenix so this will be a new adventure. I love an amazing adventure and I’m not afraid to start a new quest. People say great things about the Phoenix area and I look forward to all there is to do. Some of you will have to respond to this and fill me in on the places of excitement, the hot spots and things to do.

So … I propose a toast: to a new start.

All of you from the Phoenix area …give me the low-down on your area. I want to shake it up and have a great time. Will you help?

welcome to the glorious southwest! i'm in tucson, about 2 hours south of phx, so i can't be much help in the phx sights and "to-do's", but you'll find that arizona is an incredible place, from the sonoran desert (here in the south) to the pines of northern arizona, and all the great places in between. enjoy your journey!
bye for now, cat

Welcome to Phoenix. What sorts of things do you like to do?
