Women

You know I love em. Having been a son, a husband, a father and a friend, I've learned too much about women. My views have almost become medicinal, which removes all the mystery. Consider that on any given day, 1/4 of the child-bearing population has their period. Another 1/4 are ovulating, and 1/4 have PMS. For the remaining 1/4 there are the medical issues. Aside from STDs, you've got vaginal warts, itching, discharge, and dryness. You've got bloating, lethargy, and apathy. All this while trying to achieve a beauty standard that can never be met. Self-esteem and anxiety over how people perceive you are a whole other issue, but the head game is manageable whereas the physical issues are beyond control. Women also plan. When to wash their hair, how often to shave, what to shave, to perfume or not, what to wear, eyebrow plucking, bikini wax, hair color, contacts, etc etc. God I can't imagine a life like that, but I'm thankful for the effort and more thankful I don't have to deal with it. The worse part is that women compare themselves differently than men do and no matter how alluring they become from all their primping, it is only a prelude for a relationship. That is how women define themselves and unfortunately they don't have much control over it. All of that aside, the real problem between men and women is that women always expect men to change and men expect that women never will.
