Rant or Rave?

I usually avoid blog titles with the word Rant in them. If I get zero view count from this posting then I'll know that I'm not alone in this practice. The "Back In Black" bit on Jon Stewart's show, not very funny to me but I can still see the humor they try to put into it. If more rant postings were like that, then maybe I'd read more of them.

Ever heard of the term Energy Vampire? Ever known a person that can walk into a room and suck the energy/life right out of it? I often wonder if its that personality trait that write rants. Now, don't misunderstand me. I think the occasional Grip and Bitch session about the injustice of life is one thing. I see Ranting going way beyond that. If you see the key words of "them", "those", "us/me" then there's a good chance you're looking at a bona fide Rant.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, the Rave has nothing bad to say. All's good with the world and ain't it just grand. I have yet to find that kind of perfection in anything around me or within me. While I try not to focus on negativity, the overdose of sunshine is just as harmful. The Rave is different than giving complements and kudos', which everybody could use more encouragement in their lives.
