PC Problems Irritate Me....

I just needed a space to vent for a minute. I absolutely despise problems with my computer. I remember living without a computer......I just have to remember how I did it. I have become dependent on my computer and I never even realized it was happening. I have tons of files from work on here...lots of personal info....my calendar and my address/phone book....it alerts me to appointments and reminds me of special dates....and in the middle of all of this, I forgot the most important thing. I don't have anything on here that I didn't used to have somewhere else. I used to actually write down phone numbers and addresses in a beautiful book that I kept neatly updated. I used to write myself reminder notes and put them on the wonderful calendars I used to hang on my wall. I used to keep all of my personal info in, of all things, my purse (we won't talk about my thing for purses this time). I used to keep copies of all my work files in a cabinet that was alphabetized and always in order. I'm thinking that the reliance on computers may have taken me by surprise, but the problems with it have reminded me that I was, and will be again, more conscientious with regard to what I put where. I think I may have altered an important part of myself when I became dependent on my PC. I kept all that information because I used to write letters and make phone calls and visits those addresses. Maybe, the lesson for me in all of this fighting with my PC is that I spend far too much time with it and far too little time doing other important things....

Just keep it simple, and curse Bill Gates under your breath, or try LINUX.
