Beat me, whip me, make me wear white after Labor Day

I was perusing a post in another's blog, reading through the responses--one of which I had posted--when noticed that the "report for abuse" tab showed up on all the other responses but not on mine. Apparently you can't rat yourself out. I'm sure that means something, though I have no idea what.

Yeah. Like no one has ever said, "I've been bad and I need to be punished"!

Ah, what do I know? I'm one of those pretentious BIPs (people in black). That and I saw what happens at the end of Serial Mom.

report for abuse...you mean one can't have a different perspective...thus far I have found the majority of commenters are very diplomatic...so what could they have said to merit such a reaction?...

Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. And even if you're not diplomatic, so what? A difference of opinion is only that. But a few bloggers have written things suggesting that some users do lodge complaints--and that the AdultFriendFinder gods operate under a "guilty until proven innocent" protocol. (To be fair, though, I once became the target of an inane--or maybe insane--campaign of vitriol, but at least my attackers didn't try to finger me for abuse.)

"Fashion has changed!" "No it hasn't!"

Those who say they've been bad and need to be punished tend to be visiting Dominatrixes. Well, the ones with any sense, anyway. But to rat yourself out with pressing abuse... Come on, how self-loathing would you have to be to want to get yourself removed from the site for abuse?
