A man approached and told me that there existed in an alley close be a certain subtle fresco of complexities that was paramount to any mortals continued appreciation for the dark arts…

How he knew that I was a students of such measurable substance was a matter of his own dried taste for I find no luxury in such business. He afforded me one after thought before he was through, seeing that I was not of an interested mind to apprehend intricate implications behind his crude observation of me. “Sir, I urge,” he hesitated to glance the spectrum of his thoughts and the characters of our surroundings, “I urge you not be a fool.”

I was aghast that someone I’d never even met would have the audacity to say something of that nature to a complete stranger. Even as I tried to retaliate with a wit not quit enough to scorch the one who’d publicly affronted me so abruptly I’d not known what to think then nor presently.

What is this ominous foreboding cast at my feet that I should scurry along the ally ways in search of some absurdity completely out of my way? It hadn’t even made any sense at all what the man said.

I thought for a moment how he’d looked standing there in front of me, a slender man, very tall and slender…dressed in flowing stitches of fabric which appeared to be some sort of dark gown. How ridiculous!

I glazed the alleyway with a confrontational glare mistrusting myself, that I might boldly trot down the trodden path merrily obliging the gentleman just to be overcome by several hoodlums waiting for me to trespass on their turf. I think not!

Yet, how odd it was...
